At Parent Chosen, we believe parents shouldn't have to guess whether a toy is safe. That's why every single product in our store goes through a careful vetting process before it ever reaches your child's hands.
Our 4-Step Safety Promise
1. Compliance Check
Every product we carry meets or exceeds the safety standards set by the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and ASTM F963 — the gold standard for toy safety in the United States. We verify age-appropriate labeling, small parts warnings, and material safety before listing any product.
2. Supplier Verification
We request and review third-party testing reports from every supplier. If a supplier can't provide safety documentation, we don't carry their product. Period.
3. Hands-On Inspection
Our team personally orders and inspects every toy we sell. We check for sharp edges, loose parts, choking hazards, and overall build quality. If we wouldn't give it to our own kids, it doesn't make the cut.
4. Ongoing Monitoring
Safety doesn't stop at launch. We monitor customer feedback, CPSC recall notices, and product reviews to ensure ongoing quality. If a concern arises, we act immediately — pulling the product and notifying affected customers.
What We Look For

- Age-appropriate design — proper sizing and no small parts for younger age groups
- Durable construction — toys that hold up to real play without breaking into hazardous pieces
